(LVRR) Fw: Old LV structure in Depew

I lived in Depew near the line to the Falls and remember a large concrete structure (six-sided I think) just north of the French Road crossing.  Any idea what it was, perhaps a coaling tower?  I did a lot of track walking when I was a kid, and that structure and the old Depew station were memorable.  I got bitten by the railroad bug and became an engineer.  Sadly, there is no cure for that illness.  I have a low-quality JPEG of the old LV Depew depot if you're interested.
