Dear Dennis:
Attached is a scan of a photo which appears to be a LV GLa hopper with
thedistinctively enlarged end sill. It is from the Western Maryland
Railway Historical Society's quarterly "The Blue Mountain Express"
(Vol. 27, No. 1 & 2, Spring and Summer 1998.) The hopper appears in the
background in a photo of the depot at Belington, WV. The author is Don
McFall (301-460-9193). Maybe you can get a better copy of the original
photo.
The lettering matches the diagram on the Bowser site. Of course, the
color is a mystery.
I'm sending this to you off-list because I doubt if attachments are allowed.
