Wow, that is wierd. I used to work at Dingens and Harlem. Is it torn down  
completely? Who was behind this move and where is the Preservation Society of  
Erie County when you need them?
 
Does anyone remember the restaurant that opened there after the railroad  
cleared out?
 
I remember going to the station with my dad (LV engineer) when he got in  
trouble with LV brass (I think it was over some cars hitting the ground that  
they pinned on him). There was a scale model (perhaps "O" scale) of EMD F-3s  
(A-B-B-A) that were in a glass case in the super's office at that station. Does  
anyone know what ever became of them? I was only about 10 (if that) at the 
time,  so my recollection may be a little off. I just remember being fascinated 
by that  model.
