Hi,
I have several questions about the origins and numbers of the cabooses
at the End of Line Vacation Station or whatever it is now called, Lake
Geneva, WI:
1. Is there 1 or more than 1 Lehigh Valley caboose there? Is it/are
they ex-CNW? Number(s)? I've seen a photo of one LV hack here and have
had a report of 5? At least the number of LV cars would seem to be easy
to answer, but ...?
2. I have 8 CGW 600 series/CNW 10500 series cars listed there. Are
there more?
(603/10502, 609/10508, 612/10511, 614/10513, 615/10514, 618/10517,
621/10520, 623/10522)
3. I have 24 Milwaukee Road crummies listed but I have *NO* numbers for
them!
4. There are 6 NE5 style cabooses reported there. True? Origin(s)?
Numbers?
5. The above total 45 cabooses. Is that the correct total?
Two people have offered to supply this information, one about 5 years
ago and the other about 3 years ago. I'm beginning to think they aren't
going to do what they said they would do!
Any and all help will be appreciated.
Thanks, Roger
