(LVRR) Anthracite Club Open House Dates in NJ

Dear Modeling Friends,

It's autumn and that means the Garden State Central Model Railroad Club,
Inc. of Asbury Park, NJ is gearing up for another season of open house
dates.

Our large HO scale layout includes scenes from along the Jersey Central,
Lehigh Valley, Laurel Line, and Lackawanna Railroads. New this year is a
fully working kickback track for our operating MacMyler Coal Dumping
Machine, based on the original "Big Mac" at Pier 18 in Jersey City, NJ.

Other in-progress models include Bethlehem Steel, Allentown and Scranton,
PA. Many scenes, such as Wilkes-Barre yard, have been spruced up for the
show. Others, like the area around Lehighton, PA and Communipaw, NJ are
still just getting underway.

The GSC is a small all-volunteer group working to interpret the history of
anthracite railroading. Memberships are available for interested modelers,
historians and carpenters.

East of Main Street and 1 mile from the NJ Transit Allenhurst train station

Dates: 
October 18,19 & 20,
October 25, 26 & 27
December 6, 7 & 8  (Famous Trains Holiday Show)

Fridays 7-9 p.m.,
Saturdays & Sundays 1-5 p.m.
