Subject: EL 6603 (ex Erie) Milk Cars color question
"20221009_202337.jpg" - image/jpeg, 1948x1461 (24bit)

Hello,

I have made an N-scale model (Fusion360 + Resin print) of EL 6603 Milk Car,
an ex.Erie Milk Car.
All simply since I found a drawing and wanted to test making my own 3D
prints of EL cars in N-scale. And so far I have to say that it works well,
really well...

On the http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/ webpage I found what I think is the
original specification of these cars. And from that I can tell that they
were painted in Pullman Green by Erie and had Gold lettering, chassis and
bogies were black and so was the roof walk... But... The actual roof?

From the specification I can only see that they had some kind of base
paint, but there is no top coat in the spec (or I just missed it...).

Was the roof also black as the Roof Walk, or was it silver (metal) finish?
Pullman Green?

Anyone here know? Any help is greatly appreciated!

And did any more than the 6603 survive into EL?

I attached a picture of the first printed car I have made, ready for paint
(when I got it figured out...).

Thanks!
Anders in Sweden
