Sorry Frank, the HAER photos made by the National Parks Service before
Steamtown indicate the tower is gone. According to historic photos I have,
it was located in the western throat of the yard, a bit east of the Bridge
60 tower. As you can see (or not see) in the attached HAER photo, it has
been removed by the date of this photo -- which I believe is 1989 (the HAER
site is a little vague on the date). However, I also have a photo dated
1974 which shows the tower. So, it was apparently removed between 1974 and
1989.
