i just got back from Hornell and i do say there is a lot of activity
going on there....by the depot, they ripped up part of the street ( i think
for a sewer line for the depot ) and there is lots bricks in front of the
depot. i really don't like the new roof awing on the depot....it takes away
from the original look, and in the back of the depot part of the awing is
eliminated going twards the black fence, and a lot of the holes that were in
the buildind are now gone. The Hornell sign that hung on the depot is gone
too.

I was in shock, the tracks were all clear on the Allegany division
line. All of the weeds were whacked away, the bushes were hacked away and
last of all the small trees in and around the ROW were chopped down, you
could see the tracks for the first time in years.

The track there is still rolled over though!

I took a drive down RT. 21, from the road u can see that the line was
landscaped, you can actually see the row from the road....**WOW** I am very
impressed.....

But my adventure came to a screeching halt, my drive shaft broke while
driving on I 86 and on a Sunday of all things and the other problem are those
BIG RIGS, there set on 100 mph and will run you over!! But I will say the NYS
hyw troopers were out that day, but didn't help me out!

Since I was towed, I could not check out bath hammonsport, the 2
Circus Passenger cars that were seen on I 86 (RT17) were GONE...WERE DID THEY
GO??? It was weird not to see the cars from the HWY. Any info??

I was happy to have been in the cars last summer and have taken a lot of
pictures of what was in the passenger cars ;--)
