"20230216_125916.jpg" - image/jpeg, 1717x2902 (24bit)

A while back a friend of mine who lives in Lake Owassa NJ (near
Branchville) gave me this cart. It used to hold tanks for an acetelyne
torch. It looked to me like its original use was at a railroad depot. If
that's true, then it's a high probability that it is Lackawanna.

Can anyone verify from the picture that it truly is DL&W?

I'd like to restore it as best I can. Obviously, the chain was not original
and the crossmember at the top looks like an ordinary 2x4 to me and should
probably also go.

I'm assuming all metal parts were black but does anyone know if the wood
was painted or left natural?

Thanks!
Bob Mitchell
