List,

Attached is a short article from the New York Evening Post of May 20, 1911 describing Erie Railroad awards for superior performance. I'm aware of the "Oder of the Red Spot", but I have no information on the MOW forces. Does anyone know how the section houses were painted to signify superior track? And how long this practice lasted? Might make a neat addition to a layout instead of the standard Erie colors.
