"Morris_Ave_demolition_s_Boonton_NJ-1996-PRT.jpg" - image/jpeg, 1710x1245 (24bit)

Pete's on the right track here, but it's not a DL&W bridge that's being built. These two photos show the construction of Morris
Avenue bridge over the Rockaway River (which ran parallel to the DL&W here). I've attached the photo from the Steamtown collection
that clearly shows it - Photo X0113 is looking railroad east at the abutment and pier for the new road bridge, prior to the
construction of the girders. You can see there's a siding with a steam locomotive in the construction area - likely this is where
the shot of the MOW boxcar was taken. The structures in the background of that shot match up with the backside of the buildings
along Main St. during that era. Oh yes, the Steamtown photo is dated 1909, so that gives the date for Ron's two photos as well.

For further evidence, I spent quite some time photographing the demolition (and replacement) of this structure back in 1996. I've
attached one of my photos in the middle of the demo that shows (from a reverse angle) the same location - the pier and girders are a
dead-on match.

Hope this helps!

- Paul, back to my job hunt I go :)
