Re: (erielack) Buffalo Convention Questions

Guys...guys...guys...

Google.

That is the Buffalo and Erie County Naval Park. Not only do they have the USS The Sullivans, but they also have the USS Little Rock (a cruiser) and the USS Croaker (a submarine). The Sullivans was a Fletcher-class destroyer named for the five Sullivan brothers who were all killed when their ship (USS Juneau) went down during the Battle of the Solomon Islands.

There must be an Erie or DL&W connection in there somewhere...now back to the trains!

P.S. Anyone heard from Chuck Yungkurth...did he make it through all the flooding in Boulder okay?
