RE: (erielack) Steamtown Images--September 1, 2013 (C3241 thru C3245)--Correction

These are shots of the DL&W I am most familiar with from my childhood. It is excellent documentation of the transition from the old main to the new cutoff on the south end.

1. C3241 Theodore St Crossing in north Scranton. On the right is the Von Storch shaft. In the background is the Cayuga breaker, now near the Keyser-Oak shopping center.
2. C3242 Just south of the duck under in Clarks Summit. What appears to be a sunken semaphore is on the recessed slow track just before the duck under.
3. C3243 Duck under bridge (concrete in foreground to left and right); the junction of the old main (now a siding) to the new main in Clarks Summit. Grove St. Bridge in the background.
4. C3244 Close up of the old main with one of the tracks ripped up. In Clarks Summit Looking north/west.
5. C3245 Close up of the old main junction in Clarks Summit, Looking south/east.
6. C3246 Clarks Summit, where the slow track comes up from the duck under to meet the new mainline.
