(erielack) Erie Railroad or Railway?

Hi folks,

One comment on the section of the new BR&P Vol. 4 book - it's entitled "ERIE
RAILWAY".  During this period (1940s-1950s), wasn't it the Erie RAILROAD? Or
am I wrong on this?

There are some pretty neat shots in this section - one shot that caught my
eye immediately was a clamshell bucket crane with a yellow roadnumber and an
"early" square lettered logo on the cab, coupled to a side-dump Erie hopper
in MOW service. Nice!
