Here's a shot of EL 167361, one of a small handful of EL red-painted boxcars
lettered with the 9" Roman reporting marks (as the Erie applied to their
cars). More common on the early red boxcar repaints were a mix of 9" Roman
"EL" and 7" Roman car numbers, but even those weren't too often seen before
the formal adoption (circa 1965) of the 9" Gothic reporting marks.
