Going back to the previous issue of the diamond. If I am guesstimating right from the diagram, Marion yard was about 2.5 miles from the crossovers on the east end to the throat of the yard on the west side?
And there is a long curving track leading from the hump yard area to the far side of the turntable. In between there is a rectangular building that track passes through. What building is that? The coaling tower?
