RE: (erielack) New covered hopper from ExactRail



Paul,

Comparing the model to the photo of the prototype BSC car in the color 
guide, the only  visual difference aside from minor variance in the stirrups 
is that the hopper outlets on the BSC car have a wider base (and the 
as-built EL cars had friction bearing trucks). IMO they're good stand-ins.

As another note, the ExactRail car is a Pullman-Standard 4427 model that's
being decorated up as one of EL's Bethlehem-built 20050-series cars. (so
it's not technically "exact," pardon the pun!) I'm not sure what the
differences between the two are - can anyone elaborate?
