Mr. Clark was a craftsman, artist, set designer and master showman, not by trade, but for the work he put into his layout displays.

Over the past 28 years I have taken all of my children to see his displays. When I heard his display was at the Steamtown Mall I planned to take my granddaughter , they both would have loved the visit.

Many of his structures were what now would be considered "old school" buy today's standards.
Cardboard, balsa wood, paper printed brick sheets and odd n' ends from the scrap box were his staple building materials.

When the structure was in it's setting everyone said "look there is the Lackawanna station, Tony Hardings, Scranton city hall, the Scranton Times building, the Tunkannock viaduct the list goes on and on.

Mr. Clark achieved what most model builders strive for:

The viewer to relate to the scene or object.

Attached are some pictures of his display.
