To Ed Montgoery, Paul Tup, Bill Shepard & List;It appears that the waste-water cars ran Drew to W. Boonton, then on NE-4 to Secaucus/Croxton, then on another
throught freight back to the Booton area, from all of your comments.
Bill seems to be more logical when he says the cars did not layver at JN, especially if they weren't cleaned, being in a captive service; no need to.
HB-7's listing shows ALL EMPTY TANKERS handled; it's timing west to Pt Morris is ;45 minutes more than HB-5's
which would allow for picking up those cars, and setting them off.
I would like to see some of Tup's waybills to learn MORE about the inbound loads of Soy and Tallow. When you get
time, Paul.
This shows the value of these chat-sites, especially for modelng operations fifty years after.
