Just forwarding this along a neat image of the Erie boxcab 20, with a full crew! Erie 20 is a B3-3, Class M-1, was built by Alco-General Electric-Ingersoll Rand on May 25, 1926, S/N #66681, 10024. It was later reclassified Erie Class SA-3 and was scrapped in November 1958.

Jane Putkowski Rotella comented "My grandfather Charles "Carl" Herman Grau is in this photo, 2nd from the right. He was a Yard Conductor in 1953, when he retired. He died at the railroad's retirement home in Staten Island or Long Island."

She is trying to find the home that was operated by th Brotherhood of Conductors. Anyone have any clues?

Todd ~
