RE: (erielack) Fw: EL GON - Welded or riveted?



Rich, your attached photo is from a series 44200-44599, all of which were built by Pullman=Standard
in May-June 71.  It appears to be a welded car, and I am fairly sure it is.   It's depicted on EL
Diagram book page 3C-9.

What would the other series you're referring to be?
