Scott and all, It was the International Boiler Works Company (founded in 1886). The company originally manufactured a line of full length tube vertical boilers which were used for all kinds of construction machinery (e.g. furnishing steam for a pile driver). With the decline in that market and since the mid-Twenties, they produced heating and power boilers for building and industrial applications, including some real mega-sized boilers. IBW had a lot of government and specifically, defense facility contracts which placed them up there in some applications with larger companies like Babcock and Wilcox and Combustion Engineering Co. (Pocono Record info) I believe the plant closed in the early 90s and is now one huge industrial clean-up site.
