Here is B&O's version of essentially the same Gindy HiCube. They leased theirs from REAZ. Trailer Lettering: I think the 15 trailers in this ELZ series (200051-200065) were built sometime in 1963-64 and as delivered came with the large ERIE-LACKAWANNA (logo) PIGGY-BACK SERVICE lettering on panels fixed to the exterior ribs on the trailer sides. The minimalist logos on 200052 might have been a later replacement scheme (perhaps following some maintenance and/or modifications). In the early 60s the EL like most other roads plainly advertised their P-B service on trailers, but by the end of the decade moved to often a smaller rectangle or square with the name, logo and number positioned near the front of the trailer. The many classes of EL trailers listed and the dearth of photos (especially from early 60s) makes this hard to verify. More HiCube Vans: Looking at my ORER (10-67), EL went on to acquire (or lease) 47 additional HiCube vans (207801-207847). Don't have any other info on these (whether they were Gindys, smooth-sides or exterior post etc.) Mike O.
