Re: (erielack) DL&W S-2s (482,483) EL(541,542)



In the forthcoming Morning Sun DL&W Facilities book I have a shot of DL&W 
483 taken from the Weste Lackawanna birdige over the tracks. Was taken in 
1948 and you can clearly see the MU connectors on the front. Also can see 
the hose for the conductor's passenger train signal to the cab.

And my error in the caption has an error in that I say the the hose was afor 
a "cab signal" which give the wrong impression.  One of these Alcos was used 
on the Bloomsburg  passenger traion during the prolonged coal strick back in 
the 40s.
