Re: (erielack) The P'Burger and the movement of cars

Yes, Port Morris became an interchange point, or shall I say, a location
where the swapping of cars would take place between four trains during the
1970s. The Dover Drill, P Burger working 6 days a week out of P Burg, CS9, and
PN98. With out getting into specifics, those four jobs kept cars moving to and
from , Phillipsburg, Scranton, and Croxton.

One thing that I don't remember from our discussion about this train a
few years back: If the Croxton-P'Burg train was dropped, what replaced
it? I assume CS-9 or other westbound freights simply had a Port Morris
set-out that the P'burg Turn would then pick up? I seem to remember this
was the case, can anyone confirm?
