i am building a computer simulation which includes hoboken terminal.

i have shepards 1974 track plan of the area; and theodore scull's book
on the terminal; and tabor's 3 volume set.

does anyone know where i might view a floor plan of the terminal? all the stuff on
internet is too recent.

in particular, i would like to learn WHERE the mail cars were loaded and
un-loaded; i read in tabor's vol 2 that 'later" they went to the freight
warehouse west of the frt yard.....? ny society got displaced from the second floor
around 1950, and the postal storage system moved in, so was it near there?

also, where the diners and sleepers were cleaned and re-loaded; was it near the pullman
& immigration building?

where coaches were cleaned; was it in the pullman yard?

where baggage was handled, i think the baggage room was near track one; but i
seem to recall seeing them on or near track 15 near the immigrant slip, next to
the DS Office, where the bakery that sold me 2 copies of bill shepard's book was.

i recall wandering around the 2nd floor once, and finding the wmca, but too long ago
to remember just where it was.

also recall going into bob taylor's office to arrange a fantrip, but where?

did the power plant near the wheel shop get oil or coal?

at least i got to see the upper level trolley loops in 1949.....but how we got
in there is in the too distant past.

any thoughts?
