(erielack) Ballast Service on the Reading, August 1952

I work at a museum in the city that was once home to the Reading Company.
We recently received a ledger book from someone's relative that probably
would have worked in the track department. 

 

On August 1952 he worked with the following cars for "Cinder ballast dragged
in class yard"

 

August 11:

D&H  4203, 1180, 8977, 6021, 3320, 3329, 6134, 5015, 82431, 8169, 85687,

85572

 

August 12:

More D&Hs 81XXX, 82XXX, 83XXX, 85XXX, 86XXX

 

August 13:

DL&W 86832, 81620, 83705, 82306, 83658, 86463, 92953, 82333, 86424, 86909,
83700 Erie 28400

 

August 14:

DL&W 84892

 

One week later, with he was spreading ballast stone with CRP cars 10XXX,
63XXX,67XXX, and DL&W cars 81XXX, 82XXX, 83XXX, 85XXX, 86XXX

 

Sorry I don't know where this was.  Hopefully it was of some interest.
