Now just hold on a moment - it's June 31st!  :)  :)  :)

Seriously though, great photo, and I just love the F7B tucked in there, just
to make it one louder (see? It goes to 11) (sorry for the obscure Spinal Tap
reference there, but that's what placing an F7B into that lash-up makes me
think of...)

Last day of June, time to turn the calendar!

The July EL calendar photo features a wild and BIG lashup - 6 units
(GP35-U25B-GP35-SD45-SD45-F7B) on train NE-97 moving through the verdant
landscape at Pond Eddy, PA on July 1, 1970. The roadbed seems to be fairly
well maintained in this image, and the motive power appears to be fairly
well-kept up, too. It's hard to believe that within four years this line
would lose its "premier" status when a large traffic shift to the DL&W side
would occur.
