Re: (erielack) Will the Lackawanna Cutoff rail line pay off?

Yeah, but these Drunks do not care of the public or they would have saved the line when track were still there.

We are talking of a new generation of people working who never saw $.75 a gallon gas and started with over $1,00 a gallon when they started driving ans earn over $100G a year and afford $100G cars and could not case less how much gas costs as they still prefer the privacy of their expensive cars ans lifestyles and not about to degrade themselves to transit.

Robert Moses loved cars and highways but never drove a car but had others drive him around and his tag line was THE PUBLIC BE DAMNED!!! Still that way today when it comes to mass transit.

Ans We pay for these drunks to drive city and county cars that cost them nothing. Nice to be wealthy!!

Jerome, one the polictian side I somewhat agree...However I think your goa be proven wrong in time as Gas going Up up and up a near 400% of what NJ drivers paid 20 years ago when trains should have already been running for other reasons....

NO

That is why The Drunks were never serious of this or any other project like West Shore Restoration 60 years ago and after four rail owners

If they were serious, they would never have allowed the Cut Off to match it's true name and meaning today CUT OFF!!!
