Re: (erielack) Coal, Iron Ore and Steel



Pat,

There is a spur into the property but I never saw any hoppers there.  It is 
a small plant and I assume it has been served by truck for many years.  I 
don't know when rail service stopped, assuming it ever had rail service. 
Maybe some lifelong residents of the Corning/Elmira area on this list can 
shed some light on the history of the Hickling Station.
