I knew it was fairly close to the county line, but I thought it was on the Chemung County side. I seem to recall seeing a spur into Hickling Station, but I don't recall seeing coal hoppers. In the '70s I remember seeing a lot of red 18-wheelers hauling coal up Route 15 to Route 17 and then to the power plant. Do you remember/know if/when they stopped getting rail service?
