This has to do with available HO models, so if you're not interested, delete me now. Otherwise, the thread had me thinking about the Erie hoppers available in HO. Now, I'm not a purest, so some may not be totally accurate, but I thought it might be interesting if anyone can top my roster of factory painted and lettered Erie hoppers. I have the following in order by availability date IIRC. Each is 50T two bay unless as noted: The original Athearn offset side (okay the ends are wrong and the logo is yellow!!!) The set of ten Athearn hoppers done by the ELHS quite a few years ago. I found these through a news group about 8 years ago! The Athearn set of five special edition MDC/Roundhouse set of 12 (Three bay 70 ton capacity I think) Four from Atlas Walthers set of 6 straight sided hoppers (Anyone remember what these were called and if they are anywhere near correct?) The new set of five RTR Athearn That makes 43 hoppers, all with unique road numbers. Are there any others commercially available that I need to find to complete the collection?
