Keep in mind that Northeast Pennsylvania still has 500 years of known anthracite at the rate being mined in the 1920s. That would mean that at the current rate of mining, there's enough anthracite left to lest us a couple of milleniums.

Anyone wanna put some Glen Alden bonds in their IRA ????

Following the PRB, there's plenty of echos of anthracite railroad development -- UP management often sounds like Erie Management of 100 years ago in assessing the construction of new lines to reach the area . . . Maybe James Young is merely channeling Eben Thomas.
