Henry, I think there is a lot of information on this subject in a book called "Chessie's Road", by Turner, Dixon, and Huddleston. It shows what the Van Sweringen empire would have looked like if it had come to fruition. Shows traffic density and many other interesting facets of what they wanted to do.
