RE: (erielack) "ON TOPIC"



I am sort of loathe to add to this topic, as I thought the "monotony" topic line probably had been
applied to this thread, BUT:

It seems to me that when Gould was a factor in railroad history, he owned the ERIE and the MOPAC,
and he was trying to build a transcontinental . . . .

So it's not a new idea.
