Aye, I see what you are saying. Each builder pretty much only having 1 model of locomotive for sale like you say is a big culprit. Sad to say that there isn't enough of a market out there for the major builders to try to build brand new anything but mainline units. And all C-C's. Passenger trains <well old ones> were really nice, but that's just alittle more headache then I want to model. So the mid 70's EL works for me in that respect too.
