The steam-era fans always groused that "all diesels look alike" too. I used to hear this at Railroadians meetings, in particular.

And some of the young'ns out ther can spend lots of time telling you the differences among those 5 SDP70-whatevers on the point as the stack train goes by, not to metntion the differences in the stack wells.

Montonony is merely a state of mind.
