I thought the same thing about the line from Sterling to Marion. Even as a secondary, that would cut the travel time from the northeast and the C&O, along with the delays around Fostoria. I guess back then they didn't think they'd ever see the amount of traffic that they do have now. Things would be a LOT different now (and smoother) if they had the foresight.
