Re: (erielack) Uranium shipments from the Sussex Branch.



Mike,

I spoke with Bob Dennis, a longtime and current resident of Cranberry 
Lake.  He was in High School when the Charlotte mine was active in the 50's.

Bob states that while he didn't walk down and see the mine, he remembers 
big trucks using South Shore Dr. to haul the stuff out.  He doesn't 
believe the railroad was involved at all, and I guarantee that he'd know 
if it was in use AFTER the official abandonment.  He's a train watcher.

So, unless there's a paper train or photos, I don't know what to say 
about those private pdf files.
