More information which may help is that in the distance, about a mile or so down the tracks, is the first DL&W lift bridge over the Buffalo River. As many of you know, if you continue on thru the Republic Steel Plant about another mile, you come to the second DL&W lift bridge over the Buffalo River. As I look at the box, it seems like it is a timer, dial or clock of some sort. (I doubt an electric meter would be located here) It seems like a weak "T" for "Telephone".
