Thanks Rick, it does help. I recently read somewhere that N is actually closer to 60% of HO though. I guess that translates to about 1.2 inches, 1 and 1/4 for easier measurements sake. If anyone has had problems with 1 and 1/4 inch spacing with longer cars, I'd really appreciate hearing about it before I finalize my plans. I'll be running some 89' flats, full length passenger cars, etc. Todd K.
