Don & List,

The WNYRHS has 40' boxcar EL 88046, which was renumbered from the EL
54000-54999 series, which were renumbered from ?????? (I think a DL&W
series). You can see the car at:
http://www.trainweb.org/wnyrhs/equipmentFrame1Source1.htm

The car is located at the Hamburg Fair Grounds at Hamburg, NY, not far from
Erie tracks. Along with it is an ex-N&W caboose (WNYRHS), a 50' box (D&H I
think) and a tank locomotive.

The WNYRHS also owns (what we believe to be) the last surviving Buffalo
Creek boxcar (also 40'). As you may know, the Erie and LV each owned 50% of
the BCK from 1879 to Conrail. The BCK boxcar is near the Erie Depot in
Hamburg, NY.

Also, the WNYRHS owns a DL&W baggage car, a DL&W caboose and an Erie
caboose, plus a BCK locomotive.

Ron Dukarm.
