If the ELHS really wants to produce a calendar, perhaps CafePress is an option. They are an on-line retailer who produces printed goods like calendars to order. The calendars are a little pricey -- $16 each as I recall -- but the calendars are printed as they are ordered, there is no up front outlay of money, and all the sponsoring organization needs to do is provide the images. I'm a member of an on-line boating chat group which has produced calendars using them for the last two years. The clendars are spiral-bound, images are 8x11 inches, and the original image smust be high resolution or the final photos are a bit grainy. Although the WC calendars are larger (9x12), the convenience and flexibility CafePress offers may make them worth considering. I have no interest in CafePress other than as a customer.
