Randy and Schuyler, Just as a related side note to this discussion, Bev Bel did in fact have at least some walk-in trade at their "warehouse" (garage) in Cresskill, NJ selling to shop owners I knew. One of those shop owners was Charlie from "Charlie's Train House" on Route 9-W in Haverstraw, NY. Whenever I stopped in there while railfanning the nearby River Line up that way, and special-ordered a batch of kits, he would include that with his Bev-Bel order when making the trip down to Cresskill to pick up his completed order. There was more than one time after stopping in there (Haverstraw shop) that I had to wait for Charlie's return from Bev Bel (with my order), while his wife minded the shop.
