Howard felt like a father to me. How to be a railroader & how to be a man, 
with competency, kindness, and dignity. On my last day, Howard called me on 
the outside phone and said it had been "pretty fine" working with me. That 
is still the most cherished compliment I have ever received. He truly 
belongs with the Saints. God Rest, Howard, and thank you.
