Listers,
The Westerner and after EL, the Lake Cities, always had the oscillating headlight on when it arrived in Dover. You could spot the train headlight before it came around the curve under Salem Street.

First off, I thought the red bulb on the upper headlight was an
emergency light that only came on if the train brakes were put into an
"emergency" application, and it wasn't used at any other time?
Second of all, how well did the oscillating light work. Was it even used
at the end, or was it simply fixed?
