The Erie way to fix the oscillating upper head light was to not buy it in the first place. Randy Brown - -------------------------------------------------------------- I think the upper headlight in the E oscillated. There was also a red lens that could be moved across the beam, if necessary. The Erie way to fix this if it malfunction would be to take it out of service. It's interesting to note though, that most of the DL&W E's made it to the end with the oscillating headlight. I wounder if it was ever used in freight service.
