I don't have the calendar, but the Erie/EL Salamanca station is a long,
red-brick building, still standing.

A new year, so time to get the new calendar out!
JANUARY's photo shows SD45 3634 leading GP35 2584 and a westbound
freight past the Salamanca, NY station on a very snowy January 15,
1976.
The snow appears to be wet and windblown (judging by the snow stuck to
the ribs of the adjacent hopper and trailing gondola). The light tower
at the left neatly balances the scene on the left. There's a very
"cold"
feel to this image, that's for sure!
Not being that familiar with Salamanca, which is the station - the
building in the left distance or the red brick structure at the right?
And is it me or does this image have a slight red cast to it?
