Speaking of of U34's, RFD-TV has an hour long show named Trains & Locomotives that airs on Mondays at 6:00 PM EST. Yesterday's show was all about the U34CH. It should air again on Saturday at 9:00 AM. The was lots of historic footage of Erie, DL&W and EL commuter ops as well. I think it was all video from Mark I/Mark Balkin. They have been showing a lot of his stuff lately. I have the DVR set to record it each week. RFD-TV is available on DirecTV and Dish Network satellite systems and some cable providers, check your listings for availability. The past two week's shows were about C&O 614 and there was tons of footage from the 1996 Hoboken to Port Jervis trips, one of which I rode with my dad. Henry J.
