The Chicago photo ID's the location as Burnside IL, which is a little confusing because my SPV Atlas identifies it as a small town in western IL on the TP&W. Close by the Chicago location was IC's Burnside shops. The photo was taken at a busy location just west of Pullman Jct, where from north to south (I think) the BRC, C&WI and B&OCT/CRI&P shared the alignment. That's a B&O position-light signal behind the train, so I believe this train is westbound. It's impossible to ID which train since CO-97 and all the runthroughs came through here. This is close to the location of the photo I posted several weeks ago of the interesting track arrangement at Pullman Jct.
